Sport Center at the Edmond J. Safra Campus, Givat Ram

 

This center is among the most advanced in Israel and extends over 10 acres. The center offers employees a state-of-the-art new fitness complex of the highest standard in Israel, including 70 Technogym exercise machines of the highest quality in the world, divided between four activity areas, that provide a new and groundbreaking understanding of fitness, as well as a recently renovated swimming pool, the largest heated indoor pool in the city.

The center also offers tennis and squash courts and an athletics stadium – among the best of its kind anywhere in the world. There is also a fitness studio on-site (not included in the cost) that offers the widest range of classes of any studio in Jerusalem (over 200 classes a month) with leading trainers in top-of-the-range studios.

Patrons will also be able to enjoy the “Haivrit” cafe on-site, and a large carpark is located adjacent to the center.

 

Membership includes access to the fitness complex, swimming pool, tennis club, and athletics stadium.

Receiving academic credit for sporting activity

 

Sport has become an official part of the academic timetable at the Hebrew University.

Playing in a university team awards 2 academic credit points as part of the “Avnei Pina” (“Cornerstone”) program, subject to meeting the requirements of the team throughout the year.

 

The university currently boasts approximately 100 champion athletes in a range of disciplines and sports! If you are also interested in becoming part of the sporting family, keeping yourself active during the year, training, competing and winning, join us!
