Commissioners for the Prevention of Sexual Harassment

Dear members of the Hebrew University community,

The University views any form of sexual harassment and retaliation in such context with great severity, and acts resolutely to eradicate this phenomenon from our campuses. The University Commission for the Prevention of Sexual Harassment operates to promote a respectful and equitable environment that provides a fertile ground for study, professional and social development, exchange of views and knowledge, research and work.

We are here for any consultation, complaint or report, either by email at hatrada@savion.huji.ac.il, by phone at 054-8820889, or by contacting either of the Commissioners, even anonymously. The Commission has a team of Deputy Commissioners at the various campuses, and they too can be contacted.

The University requires that the entire University community – academic and administrative staff as well as students in all programs – take a sexual harassment prevention tutorial. If you completed the tutorial in the past 5 years, you are not required to take it again and may disregard this reminder. The tutorial can be accessed either via the Commission website, or via these direct links to the tutorial in 3 languages - Hebrew, Arabic, and English.

The Regulations for the Prevention of Sexual Harassment at the Hebrew University can be viewed on the Commission website in three languages - Hebrew, Arabic and English.

The Commission also offers information on support and assistance centers for victims of violence and you can contact us, even anonymously, for assistance and referral to professionals and organizations that support and assist.

Sincerely,
