Improving the sensing abilities of diamonds with quantum properties

Improving the sensing abilities of diamonds with quantum propert

diamonds with different properties ready to be measured.

The team of Nir Bar-Gil, from the Department of Applied Physics and the Spice Institute of Physics, in collaboration with Prof. Eyal Boks' group from the Technion, succeeded in increasing the density of NV centers in diamonds to improve sensing capabilities and quantum research in conjugated systems, using a simple tool - electronic microscope (TEM) existing in the Nano Center.
The study was published in Applied Physics Letters, and received coverage from AIP and Phys.org.
