We all know that you need to clean up after spending time in nature. But why should we do this for our future? "Harm to nature comes back to us, humans, directly," explains an expert.

In recent years, more and more records of dirt left in nature have been published, along with a call for the public to collect the waste after spending time in nature. But why is this action important at all? Does it only help animals, nature and beauty, or does it also harm humans?

"Garbage is not just an aesthetic problem. It accumulates: it accumulates in the ground, reaches water sources, the sea and is also in the air. And everything eventually comes back to us," said Dr. Uri Gat, a researcher in developmental biology at the Hebrew University
