On December 1st, we had the honor of hosting Professor John M. Martinis, recipient of the 2025 Nobel Prize in Physics, for a fascinating lecture on:

 

"Quantum Tunnelling and the Development of Quantum Computers"

The event took place at the Weiz Auditorium on the Edmond J. Safra Campus, Givat Ram, With the participation of the university president, researchers, and students.

 

Following the lecture, there was an engaging Q&A session, and Professor Martinis even stayed afterward to speak with students and answer their questions personally.
