Katrina League joined the School of Engineering and Computer Science at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem in the fall of 2015, after 4 years as a Senior Lecturer (Assistant Professor) in Computer Science and Economics at the California Institute of Technology (Caltech). Her areas of research include data privacy and game theory topics - developing theoretical models and mathematical results that help understand the contrasts between providing personal incentives and achieving collective goals. In her work, she examines questions such as: How can we make intelligent use of information about people? How can the risks and benefits of using private information be modeled and measured? How do individuals' decisions affect the systems in which they are partners?
Dr. League completed her doctoral dissertation at Carnegie Mellon University in 2009. Between 2011-2009 she conducted postdoctoral research at Cornell University.
