Levin Building – Lectures Hall
Dear Friends,
Given the remarkable developments in quantum information, approx. 3 years ago we have initiated at the Hebrew university a distinguished lecture series by world leaders, geared to a wide interested scientific audience and including a tutorial for non experts preceding the main talk.
The program was suspended due to COVID, but finally we would like to ramp it up again.
The talks will alternate between physics and computer science experts, and will be followed by a nice reception.
Both the academic community and industry are welcome!
The upcoming lecture will be given by Prof. Igor Aharonovich (University of Technology, Sydney):
Title: Quantum Technologies with Atomically Thin Materials
Date: May 11, 2022 with the program beginning at 16:00 with a tutorial (given by Prof. Hadar Steinberg).
The main lecture will begin at 17:00.
Location: Levin lecture hall (Levin Building), Safra Campus.
At 18:00 there will be a reception outside the lectures hall.
For more information see: https://www.quantumperspectives.org/
Please RSVP on the page so that we can estimate the amount of food and beverages needed.
Looking forward to seeing all of you at this special event and the entire lecture series!
Dorit Aharonov (CS) and Nir Bar-Gill (Physics/Applied Physics).
