Light Rail (Future)
The Orange Line of the Jerusalem Light Rail – also known as the Campus Line – is a planned light rail line, connected to the Jerusalem Light Rail’s Green Line, that will connect the two campuses of the Hebrew University in Givat Ram and Mount Scopus. Following the breakdown of negotiations with the CityPass consortium regarding the construction of the line (as part of the extension of the Red Line), the Ministry of Transport published a new tender that included the line as part of the Green Line. In August 2019, the bid submitted by TransJerusalem J-Net Ltd to construct and manage the line was chosen.
