Notes for the Candidates

Admission to the program:
We recommend that students with particularly high entry scores join the program already during their first year. Students who have won the Rector's or Dean's Award based on their achievements in the first year will be able to join the Amirim program in the second year.

The Program:
The student’s curriculum will be decided in consultation between the student and the department counselors and, if necessary, also with the program coordinator.
During the first, second and third years, a special inter-departmental program will be provided.
Additionally, in their third year the Amirim students will conduct a research project of their choice under the guidance of one of the faculty teachers.
The required scope of the studies will be set individually according to the department(s) the student has selected.

Study duties applicable to the Amirim Program students:
Each student shall fulfill the study requirements of the course s/he is taking as specified in the department program.
Participation in an Amirim Nature workshop in each one of the study years in the Amirim Program.
Submission of a research project in the third year, awarding 10 credit points.

Additional details:
Each student in the Amirim Nature Program is exempt of cornerstone courses.
Each year, a two-day team-building study field trip takes place for Program students all over the country.
The Program students have a closed club, in which studies and socializing can take place.
